Spring is on the way...

Finally, it's March! It has been a long winter and the weather is stillnice and chilly right now, but the month of March always reminds me that spring is right around the corner. Not quite short sleeve weather yet, but for the first time since developing Vitiligo, I'm actually looking forward to showing off my new body art (body art = Vitiligo Spots). My layers will get light this spring, but the body art will have to wait until summer...fun.

My personal style has evolved around my "vit".  As a member of the exclusive Vitiligo family, my natural body art renders me to be very original when I am surrounded by the "norm". Ladies and gentlemen, it’s okay to be an original. Find your personal style. Although the media teaches us otherwise, we do not have to be carbon copies of each other. Take your time and figure out what works for you.

My underlying message is always love yourself, as you are, for who you are. Spring is on the way, and I am so looking forward to its arrival.

You always find the greatest things to say. You remind me of the girls of Sex in The City, the one that is the author. I beleve you have or are meeting your opportunity now. You have a way with words. Keep up the good work, try some freelance writing and see where it leads you. Have fun with it. -From the one that will allways have your back!

Thanks for the kind words and for "always having my back". My blog is therapeutic and gives others a little insight into my world. I hope that my readers find it entertaining and enlightening.

Hey,
Keep writing. Your block is poetry to my ears! Like the other commenter says,"You are an excellent writer! Why don't you try some freelance writing."
I am so proud of your positive attitude. Keep it up. I have fat upper arms and I don't wear short sleeved dresses, but listening to you, I believe I have the courage to do so now.

I am proud of you and your new found courage to express yourself through your wardrobe. Thank you so much for your encouragement. I will keep writing. You keep highlighting your best features and exploring your personal style. If not the arms, show off your legs, you will be surprised to what even a kitten heal will do to make a leg look sexy. Happy Spring!
